Animal farm-reflection

The book is an allegory of the Russian revolution; however, it is presented on a farm that is led by three pigs. The role of the pigs is to make all the animals aware of the yoke of the humans. It means that the owner of the farm took advantage of the animals and did not receive good treatment.  So, the pigs spoke and helped to create a rebellion against human beings. In the beginning, they kicked out human beings, so it seems quite fair and the purpose is that all animals were equal and they work for themselves. Nonetheless,  throughout the process, the pigs who were the cleverest took advantage of it and made themselves more powerful than the other animals. They had rules, but the pigs were the first to break them. So, the characters that I think were most important are the horse "Boxer" who worked a lot and never stopped working until he died. The pigs fought against each other and in the end, only Napoleon was the "King" of the whole farm. The other animals such as hens, donkeys, cats, cows were just observing without a critical view and allowing Napoleon to do whatever he wanted to do with and on the farm.

The book helped me to understand the impact of Communist ideas on the population. In the beginning, it seemed quite just, but it turned out to be equal just for a few people.
